Putting on pantyhose can be really simple, or it can be a royal pain. I’ve seen some gurls take five minutes (or more!) struggling to get their hose on. Many of you reading this blog I’m sure already know the right way to put on pantyhose. The biggest mistake is to try to put them on like a pair of pants, starting at the waistband and pulling each leg up one tug at a time. And then going back and adjusting and pulling and tugging here and there to make them fit. This takes forever and can easily snag the pantyhose. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I think I may have actually seen my mom putting on pantyhose when I was a young boy and even then I was probably detail-oriented and noticed how she did it – bunching up the leg and starting at the toes and then slowly pulling the hose up. Once I started to “borrow” her hose during my teen years I somehow already knew that that was the correct way to put them on. If I’m wearing something like Peavey high-gloss tights, which are fairly durable, I can usually get them on in thirty seconds or less, just like so: bunch up, point toe, slide up leg, repeat, pull high on waist.
