The LA Weekly has a fascinating and tragic article about serial killer Chester Turner. He preyed on poor black women, many of them prostitutes, and as such the crimes brought hardly any attention from the media, allowing him to kill for years right in his own backyard. Most of the killings took place within walking distance of his various residences in South Central. A sad and awful tale.
