Thanks again for all the wonderful support from everyone while my family and I deal with my Mom’s health problems. On a much lighter note I was reading the Onion in the hospital cafeteria and got a big chuckle from this article on the Asian Markets. I love this stuff.
Hey Sandra,
My thoughts go out ot you and your family. If you need some CD support I am in Tallahasse and I would be more than happy to talk to you when ever you need a hand to hold. Stay strong and know that a lot of folks out there are really concerned about you.

Hi Sweetie:
I also made several trips (to Minnesota in my case) when my mom had a brain tumor. It may not seem appropriate, but humor was the best relief from such a difficult thing to wrap the logical mind around. Also helping the family is sometimes the only concrete thing you can do. The biggest problem is that you can’t stay forever and eventually have to tend to business back home. What a great thing that you can work remotely.
The joke I continued to use (probably inappropriate but I didn’t care) involved my answer when people asked me about the complexity of the procedure involved. I said “it’s not rocket science but it is brain surgery”… sorry I just couldn’t help it and all my love to you during this difficult time. xxxooo Babs
Thanks so much, Carla and Babs, for the nice thoughts. And yes, humor is definitely a useful thing in times like this :-) Thankfully, it looks like my Mom is probably going to recover from this round but she still has a long long way to go till she gets out of ICU. I really appreciate all the love and good thoughts everyone has sent…xoxo, Sandra
