A very talented online friend whom I met on MySpace recently sent me this terrific drawing that she did, inspired by one of my pictures from Ts in T. Her name is Leena Legarsi and she has more great work on the Deviant Art website. It’s not always the easiest site to navigate, and you’ll probably have to sign up for a free membership there to see all her work, but here’s the page where the drawing was originally posted. In my ongoing goal of having every bondage loving tranny and tranny admirer in the world know about my website, I set up an affiliate program where you can actually make some money if you send someone to my site and they join. It’s actually very simple. If you have a website or a blog or even a profile page with links, you just sign up and post my banner or a text link with some simple html code to track things and you get 50% of every sale that’s made through that link, including recurring sales. Someone on MySpace reposted these terrific Asian bondage pictures on their profile and I’m dying to know which website they come from. I’ll join it in a second if they take US dollars. I normally wouldn’t repost someone else’s pictures but I’m just really really curious. I don’t know if those are Japanese or Chinese characters on the text, but I do know they’re some hot pictures, and just the kind of office girl / girl next door in bondage stuff that I really love. I got some much needed sleep last night and am still on a high from the weekend at FetishCon. Forgive all the name-dropping in the following post, but there were so many wonderful people there and everyone was really nice. First off, after being hit by the heat and humidity outside the airport, I hopped on the minibus to the Hyatt and was delighted to find Tom/Cindy and KKY, both of whom I’ve shot pictures with for my site. I also got to meet a couple other lovely ladies going to the show – Mistress Sable and Mistress Gemini. A very nice start to the weekend that put me in a relaxed mood.

However, one of my least favorite things in life is to walk in alone to a big cocktail party where I don’t know many people, so I began to feel a little nervous about the Meet and Greet party that was coming up. After getting ready, I went downstairs for a while and checked it out, but my nerves were getting to me so I took a little break in the ladies room, regrouped and got myself together, and tried again. After a while I started to get into the flow of the evening and it turned out really well. Obviously there were dozens of gorgeous women there, lots of them in full-on fetish wear, with lots of corsets, stockings, and heels. I mingled around and met several nice people, including toon guy Andre, whom I’ve known online for quite a while – a really sweet guy with whom I got to chat several times over the weekend. And I also got to meet a lovely tg girl, Angela, whom I’d written a few times just before the show. She was very cute and a really fun person to hang with.

Friday morning, I arrived a little early at the show and chatted with a cute girl doing security, whom I later learned was Michelle Peters from Dizdat. She also was the model for several bondage demos over the weekend. She did one later that afternoon with Dominic Wolfe that was one of the hottest things I’ve seen in years. (I’ll be posting more pics from the weekend on my Yahoo Group in a folder called FetishCon 2007.) And she did a great demo with Phil Carson showing some thin-lace bondage, which was equally amazing and hot.

Once the show opened I got to meet quite a few of the big name guest models who had booths there. I was pretty nervous approaching Emily Marilyn and was afraid I’d pee myself, but she was really cool and actually very nice and graciously let me take a picture posing with her. One of the things I love about her is that she has a dark unknowable quality to her persona. Mysterious enigmatic women are always terribly attractive. And of course she’s so stunning that I can barely form intelligible sounds in her presence. Meeting her was just amazing.

Later that day I had a chance to sit down for lunch with my new friend Jeff Jamm, whom I’ve been talking to online for the last several months. I was really glad that he was at the show, as we’d been talking about shooting some pics for some time, and he recently sent me some nice new ballgags, which he makes himself. I remember seeing and admiring his work from way back in the old Harmony Concepts days, so it was nice to actually meet in real life. I had a nice visit with him and his lovely girlfriend K. and we made plans to shoot later that night.

When I showed up that evening, he was just finishing up a shoot with a cute young model named Trinity, doing a nice set of pictures with her in a stretchy spandex dress. It wasn’t till later that I realized that it was Trinity from Hunter’s Lair. She’s a really cute girl and she and her boyfriend were both really nice. Once they finished their set, Jeff and I shot two sets of pictures that I’m looking forward to posting on the Trannies site in the future. I asked Jeff to tie ’em tight, and boy did he ever. For the second set that we did I was on my knees on a small rotating platform, tied to a short pole in front of me. Jeff clicked away and then finally after fifteen minutes or so my elbows were just dying and that was it. No more bondage that night! But I sure slept well. ;-)

I met lots more people at the show that weekend, including the amazing Darla Crane, whom I’ve loved for years. I also talked to a nice guy from New York who said he knew an AES model who wanted to do some shots tied up with a tranny. My hand went up and I immediately volunteered. To my great surprise, though, when we finally got together, Annie, the model, brought a friend with her to do the rigging and it turned out to be none other than fellow AES girl Lyndsey Sinclaire, who’s absolutely stunning. So yeah, I can now say I’ve been tied up by Lyndsey Sinclaire! Pretty cool. I don’t have the pictures just yet but I’ll be posting some of them on my Yahoo Group once I get them.

Later on that Saturday I finally got to meet my friend Judy from Florida. Judy and I have been emailing each other for a few years now and it was really nice to finally meet her and her lovely and supportive wife. We had a nice visit down in the bar and briefly tried out an arm binder back up in her room. Then later that evening I went to the Midnight Masquerade party, held at a club nearby. Wow, that was amazing. I’ve been to lots of parties where later you come home and say, “Well, that was kind of fun.” But this one was a total blowout. The energy level was really high and I spent most of the night upstairs where the bondage and bdsm people were playing. I got to tie up my cute new tg friend Rachel, whom I’d met the day before and had a really nice time with her. I really got into the zone and felt her up and she seemed to be enjoying it too, with her eyes closed and her head rolling back. I love it when the bondage sends you away like that. There was also another ultra-freaky tg girl with these huge pink platform shoes and watching her dance to the music was hypnotic. I just sat there with my eyes glued on her. She danced really well, in this bizarre and exaggerated manner, like she was possessed by something. The whole vibe of the evening really brought on the feeling of an altered state of consciousness, and hell, I haven’t drank or done any drugs in well over a year. But I was definitely zoning out. I’m so glad I didn’t miss this one.

Sunday the show was winding down and after spending a few more hours meeting people and buying some new heels from the Shoe Guy, I took a much needed nap before heading down to the Sunday night afterparty. This party was held in the hotel ballroom itself so there was no way the energy level could compete with the previous night’s bash, held at a private club, but it was still a lot of fun.

I missed the very start, but Midori and Kumi Monster did this amazing performance where Midori, as a sophisticated Japanese mistress, puts her maid Kumi through all kinds of bizarre torments as punishment for her numerous errors. At first I thought is was kind of slow but then it just got weirder and weirder and I couldn’t look away. At one point Kumi, wearing white kabuki makeup, ends up bound and has japanese symbols painted onto her body, then gets doused with black paint and finally is whipped with a couple of dead squids, which she’s then forced to wear on her head, while Midori lets the tentacles slide down into her own mouth. It sounds nuts but it worked really well as a performance and Kumi was a mess by the end of it, bound and utterly degraded and objectified. Sounds good to me!

The last twenty four hours hours I barely got any sleep at all, so by the time I packed and sat down in the lobby waiting for the shuttle bus, I was beat. There are a lot more people that I met and things I saw but if I keep on writing, this’ll be as long as a New Yorker magazine article. Oh, yeah, like I mentioned earlier, Rubberdoll was amazing. I paid five dollars to spin her “wheel of pain” where she then puts you in the stocks and does wicked things to you depending on where the wheel falls – “spanking,” “violet wand,” “mistress’s choice,” etc. The violet wand was great. I’d never done it before and she was an expert with it. I enjoyed it so much that I went back twice. Best ten dollars I ever spent.

Other people I met include Vivian Irene Pierce, who’s super hot and a really fun person. She was one of the last models I got to talk with and I’m glad I did. There was also Diana Knight, Eden Wells, Smoking Mary Jane, Anastasia Pierce (really sweet), and of course Stacy Burke. What a fabulous weekend. I was floating on a cloud by the time it was over. It’s good to be home again, but I’m definitely planning to go back next year for more.

It was a fun and busy weekend here. Saturday evening my friends Bettie Cho and Chainguy got to shoot at a friend’s house and I had a great time. I put Bettie into an inescapable leather strap and rope tie and did a really severe gag and blindfold on her. That bitch was bound and gagged! Usually I hold new stuff in reserve since there’s older material to post waiting in the queue. But I really like this set so I’ll probably post it this Friday. Here are a couple preview shots.

Then later today, I did the monthly Bondage Workshop, presenting a few hogties and variations, and tying up my friend L. for the demo. It was a small group, only five or six people, which can be challenging, but I was feeling pretty relaxed and in the zone. Afterwards I stayed late for a presentation with author and speaker Jack Rinella, a guy who’s been into the gay leatherman scene for years and who’s written a few books on BDSM subjects and a weekly online column. He spoke on Subspace and Altered States of Consciousness and it was very interesting.

So then tomorrow I’m finally going to go in to start getting some laser hair removal treatment on my beard. Shaving is such a pain in the ass. I have a pretty heavy beard growth so whenever I’m dressing I scrape and scrape till my face is nearly raw. I finally took the plunge, got some recommendations from friends, and made the phone call. I’ll have to do a series of treatments over time, of course, but I really hope it works for me. Even just thinning the growth would be a plus.

So like I mentioned earlier, I’m going to be doing a little traveling for a week or so, just visiting family and friends, till after the 4th. Updates on the trannies site will be the same as usual, though my chances at checking email will probably be limited.

The excellent URNotAlone site has some really good regular columnists, including the lovely Alice Novic, author of Alice in Genderland. I’m way behind on my reading, but she has a very interesting article in two parts that she did a while back describing what she sees as the two “types” of MTF trans people. She talks about those of us who “love to be femme” but for whom it often doesn’t come naturally, and this can often include crossdressers and some late-transitioning transsexuals. On the other side, she talks about those who “act femme,” or who are naturally effeminate from the beginning and who, she suggests, often grow up to be early-transitioning transsexuals, drag queens, or effeminate gay men.

She credits Ray Blanchard with his concept of autogynephilia as one of the first to recognize this distinction. It’s an interesting idea and one that to me seems to make sense, though it could definitely be threatening to someone very much invested in the “usual” three-way breakdown: crossdressers / transsexuals / drag queens. It’s funny, but friends and I have often noticed the same thing that she points out about the local TG clubs: There always seem to be the young and fabulous transsexual girls who pull it off so effortlessly, and the rest of us crossdressers for whom it’s a lot of work and for whom it never feels completely perfected. Of course, some might disagree with the distinctions, but it’s an interesting way to look at things, and in a way could help relieve some of the internal self-judgments that so many of us have. If you haven’t read Alice’s column before, I’d highly recommend it. By the way, Alice is also a real dear in person, a total babe, and quite active in the local L.A. TG community.

I’ve really been on a tear lately writing some short stories for the trannies site. It can be very time consuming, but when the plot comes together and I get an idea that turns me on, I can get into the flow of it and sometimes the story nearly writes itself. Other times it just feels like work – but I’m not sure it has much impact on the final outcome one way or the other. I’m no brilliant writer or anything but I know what turns me on and I can usually describe it fairly well. I’m definitely a bit drawn to darker themes and ideas rather than playful bondage romps. I know when I try to do something more light and playful it tends to turn out kind of lame.

In any case, I finished a new story for Friday’s update, with Michelle Green looking very sexy in a PVC hobble skirt. I’ll be posting it later tonight. Here’s a quick preview pic.

Next week I’m going to be going to Colorado for a few days, to visit with family and friends, which is something I like to do each summer. The updates on the site will of course continue, though my answering email may be a bit worse than normal (it can be pretty bad even when I’m in town). My blogging will inevitably suffer too.

Well, I’d have to say that the Monthly Bondage Workshop this evening went really well. It was a small turnout because of the holiday weekend, six people total, but I was feeling very relaxed and in the zone and the ropes seemed to just fall into place. There was a nice couple there who said they were new to rope bondage, and I seemed to be able to show them quite a few techniques to get them started. It makes the butterflies in the stomach all worth it when everything comes together. Now what to do next month?

I saw this on the evening news – an Iraqi American artist who has created an interactive art exhibit in Chicago where he will live in a small gallery for 45 days, and with a webcam allow visitors to his website to control a paintball gun aimed at him, even allowing them to fire it. It’s a great concept, meant to convey the anxiety of living in a war zone, and apparently the site has been so busy that the server can barely keep up.

From my obsessive point of view it makes me wonder about new and diabolical ways to interact with people on a webcam, especially in a bondage or self-bondage scene. (Speaking of which, I’ve been setting up a new Flash based webcam that I’ll probably try out in the next week or so. I haven’t chatted online in months but have been getting the bug again lately. So I’ll post an update when I get it ready.)

Those crazy folks at Google! I just noticed that you can change your language settings on Google to, among other things, Klingon, Pig Latin and Elmer Fudd.

I finally finished re-doing the look of my site and got rid of all the layout tables that were making it such a headache to make major changes to. Before, whenever I’d try to change the front picture on the homepage, the layout would start going all weird on me and I’d give up. I also added a sample thumbnail image to each gallery on the site, since all the text links were getting a bit much to wade through. It should be a bit easier now and I think it’s an improvement.

I also combined the What’s New? and the Free Preview pages, with some freebies each week from the most recent gallery. Just click on the thumbnails with the orange borders around them.

So today I was up before dawn to get ready for a shoot with sexy fetish vixen Sirena Scott. We’ve been emailing for a few weeks and were finally able to set up some time to shoot some pictures. I’d been familiar with Sirena from her work with Harmony Concepts and with Ropexpert, so it was pretty exciting to be shooting with a “real” bondage model. It’s funny, I’ve tied up a few “genetic” girls at parties and at bondage demos but haven’t actually done much work with a GG (I hate that term but you know what I mean), since I worked with Sweetties about five or six years ago (has it been that long already?)

Anyway, Sirena was a lot of fun to work with and her photographer is going to be mailing me some pictures on a disk, so I should have some previews in a few weeks. In our set, I was playing Sandra in domme mode and got to tie up Sirena and spank her for borrowing some pantyhose without asking – You know, the kind of thing that happens all the time in real life! It’s really wild to meet someone for the first time and within a half hour, I’m tying her up and feeling up her legs. A pretty cool way to spend the morning. I’m hoping we can work again before too long.
