It’s so nice to see the Supreme Court finally got the mess around Proposition 8 cleaned up. Same-sex couples are getting married in California starting today – finally! I rather doubt the world will end. Now for all the other states where it’s still illegal.
Being a happily divorced man of over twenty years, why would any couple want to be married? But any couple who want to be married should have the opportunity. Ironically the divorce rate in MA for gay couples is very high.
It is ironic how having the right to fail at marriage is a big part of the whole struggle! ;-) I’ve read of cases of gay couples in really complicated marriage and divorce situations depending on which state they live in. I don’t know if I myself could make a marriage work, seems almost impossible to me, gay or straight…
There’s a Rainbow in the sky!
Here in France, gay mariage is allowed, legal, since a law has been voted last june. Catholics people did their best to prevent this historical event but they failed.
It was only give the same rights to hetero and homo, even the divorce …
It’s a revolution here…
