Here’s a post I put up on the Ts in Trouble Yahoo Group about the Club Fantasy parties. The attendance has been really low and I hope we’re not nearing the end:

I don’t want to sound alarmist or anything, but we need you for the next Club Fantasy party on Friday, August 15th. Attendance has been really off for the last couple parties and I’m not sure if it’s due to the summer heat or the fact that I was gone in June – I know I don’t have that much influence ;-) But in any case, I know if the numbers continue to be low we’ll have to give up the venue to another group. So if you’re able to come on out on a Friday, come on out!

Also, if the parties just don’t work for you for whatever reason, feel free to write me offlist or post here and let us know. You won’t hurt my feelings. I know we don’t have booze there, and there’s no sex at the clubhouse, and it only goes till midnight, and those may be serious problems for you. Or there may be something else that makes the parties a “no go” for you – maybe they’re just boring (horrors!) So let us know – or just me offlist if you prefer.

So the Bondage Booth at Carnal Carnival yesterday turned out to be a big hit. I went in wondering if it was really going to work, since this was the first year we’d ever tried anything like this. But once the crowds started to arrive I was pretty busy tying all afternoon – women, men, and tg’s all got tied up. And my friends Lea and J. and his girlfriend R. were great help too and made all the difference. It was a great time just hanging out with them. There were a couple times where every one of us were working on someone and the rope was flying. So all in all, I’d say it was a success, and I suspect there’s a fairly good chance that we’ll be back again next year to do it again.

I never had a chance to see many of the other events or vendors at the Carnival, but it seemed to be a good turnout that raised some funds for the club. Definitely a fun time and thankfully we had a cool July weekend.

So this Sunday, July 27th, is Threshold’s yearly Carnal Carnival. It’s a fun event and a big fundraiser for the club. And this year I’ll be running the Bondage Booth, along with several friends who’ll also be there. The idea of it is that for five tickets (one dollar per ticket), you can be placed in simple but effective bondage for fifteen minutes. So if you want to stew in bondage for an hour it’s only twenty bucks!

So if you’re in Southern California and you’ve ever wanted to be tied up by a tranny (me), now’s your chance! I’m really hoping we’ll have a good turnout and lots of takers. I’m bringing plenty of rope, as are my friends, but I’m also recommending that any takers who want to visit the booth can also bring their own ropes. And if you’re into sensory deprivation and gags, you can bring your own gear too and I’ll gladly apply it. Hope to see you Sunday!

Just a quick note that the Club Fantasy party is all set for this Friday, July 18th, from 8:00 PM till midnight, in N. Hollywood, CA. We had a major heatwave last month but things should be more bearable this time. So bring your ropes and come have some fun!

Then on Saturday I’ll be one of seven presenters at the “Insight” at Lair de Sade, also in N. Hollywood (scroll down on the above link for more details). I’ll be available to show some basic bondage techniques, and other skilled presenters will be on hand with their specialities. It should be a lot of fun, with lots of individual instruction.

Then finally, on Sunday, July 27th, I’ll be at Threshold’s Carnal Carnival (same location as Club Fantasy). I’ll be “manning” the Bondage Booth. You can buy coupons at the front desk and redeem them for time spent in simple but effective bondage, applied either by yours truly or by friends who’ll be there helping out. It’s a fun event and an excellent fundraiser for Threshold. Hope to see you there!

I love my family but they can be really exhausting. Sometimes I just wish someone would shoot me and put me out of my misery when I’m with them. The situation isn’t really that bad but this visit has just been giving me that drained and empty feeling (Who are these people? And why am I here with them?) Maybe we can get out and see some movies or something to fill up the time. It’ll be so good to be home again in a couple days. And then I’ll probably miss them – ain’t that how life goes?

I had a really great time with my friend K. in Las Vegas. There was no dressing or anything, as she’s not really into the “scene” (though she does know about my life). We did the usual stuff that you do there – walking in casinos, losing money, eating too much. The most enjoyable times, as always though, were away from the noise and people. It was also hot as hell, about 105 most days, but in the evenings it was fabulous to go for a swim and soak in the hot tub.

I always like to see the new construction too, and as usual there was lots. I took this picture of a bunch of cranes that caught my eye (really two pictures stitched together in Photoshop). Off to Atlanta tomorrow to see the folks.

L.A. Citybeat had a great cover on today’s Fourth of July issue. I love dark sarcastic stuff like this. I actually do enjoy the Fourth quite a bit and am a real sucker for the marching bands and fireworks. I haven’t found much of that in L.A., unfortunately, but when I’m back in my hometown in Colorado I love that stuff.

This weekend, though, I’ll be in Vegas, seeing my best friend K. Unfortunately I’ll be one day late for the holiday hoopla, but it should still be fun. I’ve been to Vegas many times, but find it’s best in small doses. Then next weekend I’m seeing the folks in Atlanta. Busy summer travel.

Oh, and I apologize to everyone whom I owe an email to. I’ve got dozens of emails to reply to and have had so much going on I just haven’t been able to get to them. And, well, now I’m going to be out of town, so it’s not looking good…

So last weekend I was at a fetish photography weekend workshop being put on by erotic photographer Lori Mann. It was quite challenging, and although there was no bondage, it was still a lot of fun. Unfortunately, we were in the middle of a heatwave here in Southern California and the workshop was held in Lancaster, up in the high desert. Saturday I think it hit about 105. There were a bunch of great models and some very talented people there.

I did get to shoot pictures with a couple of terrific models. First I shot with Natalie Addams, who has an incredibly cute goth girl look (Model Mayhem page). We shot up in a small attic, where the heat must have been in the high nineties. But Natalie held up well, though I was sweating like a pig. Then later I did some pictures with the lovely Mz. Berlin, wearing a bright and colorful retro outfit and posing in a nice funky motel room set. She was great to work with and I really loved her outfit.

One of the most amazing demos was by a photographer / artist named Allan Amato who showed us a bunch of his portrait and fashion work and gave a jaw-dropping Photoshop tutorial. If I were trying to do fashion photography, after seeing his stuff I’d just give up. He’s just freakishly talented and operating at such a refined level that even after seeing his extensive demo I still have no real clue how he does what he does.

Here’s some of my shots with Natalie and Berlin. They were great to work with and I hope I’ll have a chance to work with them again. Oh, and if you’re into erotic or fetish photography, Lori’s classes are great – highly recommended!

I sometimes like the interesting “mistakes” that happen when shooting. This shot caught my eye from when we were checking the exposure on a recent shoot with Chainguy. Just sitting on the sofa and staring into space. Obviously way overexposed but kind of nice and artsy.

I love what Sir Bob has to say about email. He’s so right. I mean, I like to stay in touch with friends and family and all, but email really does have to be one of the biggest time sucks out there. I’ve had so many mornings when I’m getting ready to edit pictures or do some real work, and then I’ll log on and find I have 30 new emails to deal with. It takes incredible willpower to put off dealing with them and to stay focused on what really needs to be done, especially since, as he suggests, email gives the impression that you’re getting things done, but you’re really not. So the question is, would the world end if I just stopped answering them? And I already don’t answer a lot of them! Well, I guess if it’s an email from a gorgeous woman whom I’d like to date, I’d probably answer it, though I don’t seem to get many of those ;-)

I just wanted to mention that I’ll be gone and won’t be able to make the Club Fantasy party this month, but it’s still on and scheduled to go, Friday, June 20th from 8 PM to midnight. I’ll be away at an erotic photography workshop, so hopefully I’ll come away with some good ideas. Have fun at the party and I’ll be back for July’s, on Friday, July 18th.

It’s been a busy week and I had another good photoshoot today. This time I wore this cheap and sleazy outfit with a denim skirt, extra-tight top, big hoop earrings and even bigger tits. We also shot a bunch of non-tied-up cheesecake pictures beforehand, which I always enjoy. Here are a few of me feeling sexy. Later a bunch of rope came out and one of the biggest and stickiest tapegags I’ve ever worn. It really turned my crank, I have to admit. I’ll most likely post the full set next week.

Apparently an obscenity trial going on in L.A. was recently suspended when the judge, Alex Kozinski, acknowledged that he had some naughty pictures on his own personal website. He says he wasn’t aware that the files could be accessed by the public. Apparently they were in a folder that didn’t have a public link, but if one was aware of the folder they could type it in the address bar to reach it. It sounds like the stuff he had online was pretty mild, some of it sexy and some of it racy stuff that he found funny. I kind of feel sorry for the judge and the embarrassment he must be feeling. It just shows that if you’re in a highly visible position of authority you have to keep things squeaky clean. Someone like me, of course, is a lost cause, but then I won’t be running for public office anytime soon. The guy on trial, who sells bestiality and defecation videos, must be having a really good day with this strange turn of events.

I had a good photoshoot yesterday with Chainguy. When doing bondage in the summer one vitally critical piece of gear to have on hand is…a fan. Here I am cooling off between poses.

Jim Carrey was quoted a while back saying he’s currently writing a book on his experiences with depression and treating it without drugs. Apparently, though, his publicist is saying he was just talking and really has no plans to do so. I hope he does decide to do this. It sounds like a good idea. I know I’d read it.

Well, it looks like this blog is turning into a celebrity rag after all: I just saw that Katherine Heigl from Grey’s Anatomy was on the cover of Cosmo a few months ago wearing that same pink dress as Christina. She looks pretty darn nice too, though something about the curve of Christina’s hips just really works for me (there’s that inner lech again…)
